Safe Place

This area is used in conjunction with our cozy corner.  When children are frustrated and want to be alone, they can go to this center to relax.  We ask parents to bring in pictures upon enrollment for children to make a photo album (with the help of their teacher) they can look at to sooth anxiety.  Soft squeeze toys are located in the center to allow children to express frustration.  Pillows/lounger is for comfort and items with different texture are provided for sensory stimulation.
