Lollipop Stop Child Development Center was founded on April 19, 2006, by Melissa Womack, who had spent years providing in-home child care in Vidor, Texas. Her love for children and passion for watching them learn and grow inspired her to pursue her dream of opening her own child development center.
What began as a dream has grown into a family-owned child care center serving children and families in the Winston-Salem community. While Lollipop Stop has grown over the years, our commitment to providing children with a safe, nurturing, and engaging place to learn and grow remains at the heart of everything we do.

At Lollipop Stop, we believe early childhood is about more than simply providing a place for children to spend their day. It is about building relationships, encouraging curiosity, celebrating milestones, and creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.
From their first days in our infant classrooms to their preschool and Pre-K years, and even through their school-age years, we strive to create meaningful experiences that help children grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.

Does Lollipop Stop Aceept Vouchers?
We do accept vouchers from DSS and from Smart Start!
What are The Lollipop Stop's hours?
Our hours are from 6am to 6pm. Our latest drop off time is 9am.
What is an overmarket rate and does Lollipop Stop have one?
An overmarket rate is the difference between what DSS pays and the amount we charge (this only applies to families with a voucher). At this time we do have an overmarket rate.
What ages does the Lollipop Stop Enroll
How does School Age Care work when they are out of school?
We offer summer care for summer break. We also offer care when schools are closed for holidays or inclement weather.
We enroll from 6 weeks all the way to 12 years old.
Does Lollipop Stop have a registration fee and how does it work?
Our registration fee comes due every July. It is also due before your child's first day. It acts as a place holder to hold their spot until they start attending.
