Nursery

Our nursery provides a safe, nurturing, and developmentally supportive environment for our youngest learners. Designed for infants and young toddlers aged 6 weeks to 23 months, our program focuses on building strong, trusting relationships between caregivers and children. We offer individualized care routines that mirror those at home, including feeding, sleeping, and diapering schedules to ensure consistency and comfort.

Our caregivers engage infants and toddlers in age-appropriate activities that promote sensory exploration, language development, and motor skills. Through music, story time, tummy time, and gentle play, children begin to build the foundation for lifelong learning. We prioritize emotional security, early communication, and responsive interactions, helping each child feel safe, loved, and valued.

Families are kept closely connected through daily updates, photos, and communication, creating a strong partnership between home and school during this important stage of development.

Infants

Our Infant Program offers a warm, nurturing, and developmentally supportive environment for our youngest learners. Serving children from 6 weeks to 11 months old, we provide individualized care that respects each child's unique routine for feeding, sleeping, and play.

Depending on enrollment, we may operate one combined infant classroom or divide the age group into two classrooms—one for ages 6 weeks to 6 months and another for 6 to 11 months. This flexible structure allows us to meet each child’s developmental needs more effectively and provide more focused, age-appropriate interactions.

Guided by the North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning and Development (NCFELD) and the Learning Beyond Paper curriculum, our caregivers support early milestones in motor skills, communication, sensory exploration, and emotional bonding. Daily activities include tummy time, music, stories, and interactive play that encourage cognitive and physical development in a safe and loving environment.

Through consistent routines, responsive caregiving, and intentional experiences, we help infants build trust, security, and the foundation for lifelong learning.

Toddlers

Our Toddler Program provides a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for children ages 12 to 23 months. Based on enrollment, we offer either one combined toddler classroom or two separate classrooms—one for ages 12 to 18 months and another for 18 to 23 months. This flexible structure allows us to meet the individual needs of each age group and better support their developmental milestones.

Using guidance from the North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning and Development (NCFELD) and the Learning Beyond Paper curriculum, our toddler classrooms are designed to foster growth in language, motor skills, social-emotional development, and early independence. Children are encouraged to explore their surroundings through hands-on, play-based activities including music, movement, sensory play, early art experiences, and outdoor exploration.

Our teachers focus on building trusting relationships, encouraging communication, and supporting emerging self-help skills such as feeding, handwashing, and participating in routines. These experiences are carefully planned to help toddlers gain confidence and prepare for a smooth transition into our preschool classrooms.
