Preschool

Our Preschool Program serves children ages 2 to 5 years in separate classrooms based on age and developmental readiness. This structure allows us to provide targeted learning experiences that support growth in all developmental domains and prepare each child for long-term success.

We follow NCFELD (North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning and Development) and use the Learning Beyond Paper curriculum to create engaging, play-based environments that nurture curiosity, creativity, independence, and problem-solving skills. Our classrooms are designed to support growth in early literacy, math, science, social-emotional development, fine and gross motor skills, and communication.

Each age group—whether 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds, or Pre-K children—receives developmentally appropriate activities and guidance. As children progress through the program, they build confidence, strengthen social skills, and develop a love for learning that helps them transition smoothly into kindergarten.

Our teachers use individualized instruction, consistent routines, and hands-on learning experiences to ensure every child thrives at their own pace in a supportive and enriching environment.

Young Preschool 2's

Our 2-year-old classroom focuses on building independence, early communication, and social-emotional skills. At this stage, children are learning to express themselves, follow simple directions, and interact with peers. Using Learning Beyond Paper and aligned with NCFELD, our curriculum encourages learning through exploration, sensory play, and hands-on activities.

Children are introduced to routines, circle time, early language development, and self-help skills such as handwashing and cleanup. Teachers provide nurturing guidance as children begin to understand boundaries, emotions, and how to work alongside others.

Preschool

In the 3-year-old classroom, we build on foundational skills with more structured learning and deeper exploration. Guided by Learning Beyond Paper and NCFELD, children engage in activities that support pre-reading, early math concepts, storytelling, and science exploration through play.

This classroom emphasizes peer interaction, cooperative play, and classroom responsibility. Children begin participating in more group activities and projects that develop critical thinking, vocabulary, and emotional regulation. Toilet independence is also supported and encouraged.

Pre-Kindergarten

Our Pre-K classroom is designed to prepare children for a successful transition into kindergarten. With a curriculum grounded in NCFELD and Learning Beyond Paper, we provide more advanced activities that promote literacy, early writing, problem-solving, numeracy, and scientific thinking.

Children take part in structured group time, small-group instruction, and independent learning centers. Teachers emphasize critical thinking, responsibility, teamwork, and confidence. Daily routines encourage independence and social maturity, ensuring each child is well-equipped for their next educational step.
